Mission:

The Madison Area Association of Accredited Early Childhood Care and Education

Programs (hereafter referred to as the “Association”) is a collaborative membership

organization of accredited early childhood education programs. The Association serves

to enhance the cohesiveness of the early childhood community and to speak with one voice on issues pertaining to early care and education; and works to improve program

quality, fiscal and program stability of member organizations for the ultimate benefit of

the children and families served and the community at large.

What Does MAAECA Do?

Current goals for our association include a feasibility study regarding offering health insurance to both family and center based child care operations; advocacy to improve the child care subsidy system and ongoing work to create collaborative, play based 4-K in Madison.

We are strong advocates for high quality child care and education for all children. We work to improve quality, fiscal, and program stability of member organizations in order to benefit the children and families served and the community at large.
